A development application is being considered by the Town of Oakville for the properties 320, 324, 338, 346 and 350 Bronte Road.  The properties have been purchased by a developer and he is proposing a 30 unit development including 28 town homes and 2 freehold dwellings (the existing child care centre to be converted to a home and 350 Bronte Road remaining a freehold stand alone).

As a part of the new LPAT planning process, Oakville had advised the developer to hold a public open house to hear from the community prior to a formal application.  The developer will be hosting the meeting on:

Wednesday, December 12th, 2018
Generations Church of the Nazarene
320 Bronte Road, Oakville
6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

It is vital that residents and the community come and put their comments forward for the developer to hear.

The proposed development will require an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plans of Subdivision and Condominium.  They are proposing a condominium roadway with two access out on to Bronte road.  Residents can get more information next Wednesday.

Please note that there will be a formal statutory public meeting at Town hall once the application is received so this is not the last chance to speak to this application.
